Total Station Topcon GM-55 telh hadir untuk pekerjaan pengukuran sudut yang membutuhkan ketelitian yang sangat tinggi. Pekerjaan pengukuran tersebut dapat terlaksana dengan mudah karena alat ini memiliki ketelitian 5 detik.
Dengan ketelitian tersebut tentu saja dapat memberikan hasil yang akurat. Kemudian di lengkapi dengan laser untuk proses pekerjaan supaya alat dengan praktis membaca ukuran. Pengukuran jarak 500 meter alat ini dapat mengukur tanpa bantuan prisma (Reflectorless).

Lalu pengukuran jarak 4 km dengan bantuan prisma. Untuk memaksimalkan penyimpanan, Topcon GM-55 tersedia slot USB 2.0 flashdisk penyimpanan hingga 32GB. Oleh karena itu kualitas dari alat ini sudah tidak diragukan lagi.
